From the pastor

Glad you found us.

Hey friend! Thanks for checking out hrcc.church. I'm Travis, the Lead Pastor here since 2022. If you've made it this far, then you've already seen a bunch of stuff telling you that our church is full of people who really love Jesus and each other, and who would love the chance to welcome you into our family. That's all true!

But here's the other thing I'd want you to know: We are people in progress. And we're a church in progress. We're not where we're going yet, but we're not where we were either. Every day we're trying our best to follow God into the vision that he's placed on our hearts for Milford, and we're always trying to get 1% better.

You know why that matters? Because there's a place for you here. Whether you're not sure about Jesus yet, just starting to follow him, or you've been on the disciple journey for a long time... wherever you are, you're among others who are walking the same road.

Will you come join us? I'd love the opportunity to walk with you.

Kingdom Kids

Every kid deserves to know Jesus.

Sunday mornings are a time to discover the Bible, make friends, and get to know Jesus. From nursery through elementary, we help children learn and take part in ways that work for them.

Care for the whole child

Learning together.

Children with disabilities and neurodivergent children learn alongside their peers. Our team is trained in trauma-aware care, disability inclusion, and adaptive teaching to support different ways of learning.

When a child needs a break, our sensory room offers a calm, dedicated space to settle and regroup. They can return to their class when they're ready.

You know your child best. We'd love to hear what helps them feel comfortable and take part.

Our culture

Our Culture Statements.

Five culture statements shape how we show up at HRCC. On Sunday, on Monday, and everything in between.

01

We live like a family.

Not a program, not an audience. A household of people who know each other's names, show up for each other's hard days, and celebrate the wins.

02

We worship with reverence and passion.

God is holy, and he is near. Our worship holds both. Honest awe and wholehearted joy, whether the room is loud or still.

03

We pray with expectation.

We believe God hears, answers, and moves. We pray like it. Not as a ritual, but as a real conversation with a God who is really at work.

04

We give generously.

Time, attention, resources, forgiveness. We hold them with open hands because everything we have was a gift in the first place.

05

We love with all we have.

Love isn't a feeling we save for the easy moments. It's the work of showing up, staying close, and choosing people again and again.
